Clinical Instructor or Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Periodontics

University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Dentistry invites applicants for a part-time (.40 FTE/2 days per week), Clinical Instructor or Clinical Assistant Professor, non-tenure track, faculty position in the Division of Periodontics, Department of Advanced Oral Sciences and Therapeutics. Responsibilities for this position include teaching clinical and didactic periodontics in the post-graduate and predoctoral programs with opportunities for participation in collaborative scholarly activities in the department and service to the organization. Applicants interested in teaching with a desire to develop and advance their skills in support of dental education are preferred.

Qualifications :


Applicants must possess or be eligible for a dental license in Maryland, possess a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree, have completed an ADA-accredited advanced dental education program in Periodontics, and be board-certified or board-eligible. Desirable qualifications include a record of publication, scholarship, and clinical teaching experience.

Salary and Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
