Advises students on academic and career issues: identifies the
educational and career options appropriate for each student and
assists with the analysis of each option. Sets up an action plan
for student to explore alternative careers and related

evaluates and makes recommendations on amendments/changes to
student’s program of study; assists student in completion.
Monitors academic progress of students; determines eligibility and

Interprets and explains College policies and procedures.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Positions in this class typically require: stooping, crouching,
reaching, standing, walking, fingering, talking, hearing, seeing
and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to
lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the
human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs
