Duties and Responsibilities
  • Track and maintains student certification and licensure records.
  • Program and facilitate workshops and seminars for initial certification licensure preparation.
  • Regularly communicate with students about their certification status and COE preparation resources.
  • Collaborate with Center for Assessment, Accreditation and Retention ( CAAR ) concerning. accreditation needs and other reporting needs for various agencies.
  • Collaborate with Program Coordinators, Department Chairs, and Dean’s Office concerning. student resources, programming, student status updates, etc.
  • Assist students with advising for on licensure testing and outcomes.
  • Maintain licensure website content.
  • Ensure the accurate administration of records for students eligible for licensure testing.
  • Maintain all computer hardware and software operating systems within the Lab.
  • Conduct Faculty Workshops on administering students’ licensure exams for identified areas as needed.
  • Attend meetings and conferences pertaining to initial certification in related to COE initial certification.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Education

Master’s Degree or higher in education, testing services, or related field preferred.

Experience
  • Two (2) or more years work experience in testing tracking, database management, and data presentation and dissemination preferred.
  • Two (2) or more years in an educational or related environment or customer service environment preferred.
  • Ability to plan, organize and meet deadlines, work under pressure, and manage multiple projects or tasks concurrently.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally to staff, students, and senior administration.
  • Strong professional, communication, interpersonal and human relations skills.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to plan, organize and meet deadlines, work under pressure, and manage multiple projects or tasks concurrently.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally to staff, students, and senior administration.
  • Strong professional, communication, interpersonal and human relations skills.
  • Experience with highly automated management systems and the processing required to work within these systems i.e. PeopleSoft and Blackboard.
  • Advanced knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
