Job Summary:

This position performs a variety of task duties depending on the department and assignment.



Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC, maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better, and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Must be able to operate general office equipment, including computers for

word processing and Zoom for video conferencing.

Abilities:

• Requires the ability to perform the essential responsibilities of the position under limited
• supervision.
• Must demonstrate the ability to understand and interpret staff instructions in order to
• assist students and support staff.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, self-motivated,
• punctual.
• Excellent communication skills, methodical, neat, accurate work habits, on time task
• performance, and reliable.
• Must be able to work respectfully with individuals of all cultures,
• backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

This position involves the use of physical labor of which includes lifting 25 pounds or more. We hope for our candidate to have a good understanding of safety practices.

All work is performed in an industrial shop setting located in the Linn-Benton Community College Albany Campus. Most work duties include being on your feet for most of the duration of your shift.

Essential Duties:

CADD Lab Aides

• Help keep CADD lab cleaned and picked-up.
• Help with small computer setup and program customization.
• Help students with assigned projects, and provide access to tools needed.
• Assist with maintaining and printing on 3D printers.

Applicant Instructions:

MUST BE AN ACTIVE LBCC STUDENT ; be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours; and maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
