Position also requires: 1) Ph.D. dissertation in school-based health promotion or comprehensive school health/physical activity promotion programs. Job duties: Teach university courses in Health & Physical Education including: Teaching Assistantship: Physical Education (HPHE 1501); Teaching Assistantship: Health Education (HPHE 1502); Skills & Instruction of Fitness Activities (HPHE 1650); Health Concepts & Strategies (HPHE 2200); Healthy Behaviors (HPHE 2210); Independent Study (HPHE 3000); Planning School Health Programs (HPHE 3120); Physical Education for Elementary Classroom Teacher (HPHE 3400); Teaching Health in Elementary School (HPHE 3520); Physical Education & Health Education Seminar (HPHE 4105); Health Education: K-12 Methods (HPHE 4470); & Health Education Pre-Intern (HPHE 4475). Advise students. Conduct research in school-based health promotion or comprehensive school health/physical activity promotion programs. Publish results of research in peer-reviewed journals.
