Brief overview of duties:
Seeking Graphic Design Adjunct Professor

The Graphic Arts and Design program at Benedictine University is seeking adjunct professors. Benedictine University is located in downtown Mesa, Arizona.

The successful applicants will teach one or more Graphic Art and Design classes. We specifically need and instructor for UI/UX, Graphic Design I & II, Multimedia Design, History of Graphic Design, and Typography.

*Terminal degree in Graphic Design or a related field
*Work experience or knowledge of related industries
*Teaching experience at the university-level preferred
*Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and beyond

Required Qualifications:

Doctoral or Master’s degree and experience in relevant area required.

Physical Requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Use of computer screen, phone and customer service.
May require bending, or sitting for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
