Technical Services Librarian
Location: Moscow

Pay Range: $57,470 or higher depending on education and experience

Position Summary:
The Technical Services Librarian is responsible for overseeing the technical services operations of the Law Library, including acquisitions, processing, serials, electronic resources management, and metadata and cataloging services. The position is responsible for the efficient management and work processes of the technical services staff. This librarian will provide leadership in the Law Library by working collaboratively with the University Library and the Law Library's library consortium.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in library or information science from ALA-accredited graduate school or equivalent.
- Experience in library technical services including integrated library systems, resource discovery tools, link resolvers, proxy authentication systems, metadata tools, bibliographic data, cataloging standards, and quality control, in both print and digital environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated employment history, or job skills, that shows knowledge of types and uses of legal materials and experience with bibliographic access to legal information.
- Work experience in an academic, research, or law library.
- Supervisory experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
