TRU seeks a strategic leader to assume the role of University Librarian. The University Librarian, as the Chief Academic and Administrative Officer of the Library, is a member of the Senior Leadership team and reports to the Provost and Vice-President Academic. In alignment with institutional priorities, the University Librarian provides visionary leadership in fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that empowers students, faculty, and researchers through comprehensive access to diverse resources, expert guidance, and innovative services, ultimately enhancing scholarship, research, and the overall academic experience for all at TRU. 

The ideal candidate will have Master’s degree from an accredited library and/or information studies program and experience at the rank of Associate Librarian. To be successful in the role, they will have strong record of scholarship, research, professional practice, and service, as well as administrative experience in a post-secondary setting.

A competitive compensation package will be provided including an attractive base salary and excellent benefits. Further details will be discussed in a personal interview. The salary range is $175,000 - $195,000.
