The School of Performing Arts, Music Department at the University of Central Florida seeks a nine-month, tenure-earning assistant professor in applied clarinet. Duties will include instruction, recruitment, retention, and development of the clarinet studio, assisting in the administration of the woodwinds area, and other teaching according to the qualifications of the applicant and the needs of the department. We are seeking a candidate who will work collaboratively with UCF woodwind faculty to build strong relationships with school music educators and private studio teachers, while relating to—and working well with—UCF’s diverse student population.
