Position Summary:
The College of Education and Applied Human Sciences (CEAHS) Recruitment & Retention Coordinator is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing recruitment initiatives for students including under-represented populations. The coordinator guides students, develops and organizes outreach events, and raises awareness of college provided services. Additionally, the coordinator will assist in providing CEAHS services, offer referrals to ensure the academic success of target student populations, and provide oversight to the college's leadership and mentoring organization. The Recruitment & Retention Coordinator will also develop and host academic, community, and social programs/events, and conduct both group and individual sessions with prospective and existing students and alumni. This individual serves as an advocate for diverse students and as a resource to departments and programs seeking directions on working with underrepresented student populations.

Minimum Education:
Master’s degree in a related field is required (e.g., Student Personnel Services, Higher Education Administration, Public Administration)

Minimum Experience:
Two years of related work experience in marketing or related field within higher education is required, including experience working with underrepresented populations.

Identifies and recruits eligible and under-represented students within the target region with the intent to grow CEAHS enrollment.
Collaborate with other departments to develop, plan, implement, and evaluate various strategies to increase student success, retention, and community development.
Represent the targeted population within CEAHS and EKU by identifying services, offering referrals to ensure academic success and assist with the college’s leadership and mentoring organization. Supports the office functions by completing all other duties
