The Department of Computer Science at DePauw University invites applications for a one-year term position (with the possibility for renewal) at the rank of Instructor (master's degree) or Assistant Professor (Ph.D.). A master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (completed by August 2024) is required; a Ph.D. is preferred. A commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts setting and evidence of effective and inclusive teaching (if the candidate has taught before) are essential. The department specifically seeks candidates to teach introductory computer science courses and possible upper-level courses of the candidate’s choosing after consultation with the department.
