Job Description:

This Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Stroke clinical research trials and serving as a care coordinator for all patients involved in Stroke clinical trials. Experience in the diagnosis and management of Stroke all neurological complications associated is required. Other responsibilities include recruiting study patients, coordinating patient visits, monitoring study quality and patient progress, and compliance with study requirements and data collection.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio required;
2. Clinical experience required;
3. Experience with scientific writing.
4. Experience teaching/supervising students and residents.
5. Knowledge of the methods, materials, and equipment used in research.
6. Must have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint required. Advanced Excel functions such as tables, graphs, statistical formulas, and Basic editor is preferred.
7. Current, active CPR certification at time of hire required and maintained.
8. CITI training through IRB.
9. HIPPA certified.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. BSN preferred
2. Research experience preferred.
3. Master of Science or related field preferred.
4. Knowledge of clinical trials and IRB submission, preferred.
5. Prior laboratory research or technician experience desirable.
