QUALIFICATIONS JOB DESCRIPTION

Starting Pay Rate: Per Adjunct Faculty Pay Scale

The pay rates are aligned with the terms outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Schedule Information: Days/evenings/weekends depending upon course schedule

The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Your application can remain "Under Review by Committee" for 18 months. You may check your status at any time by logging into jobs.harpercollege.edu with your username and password.

Job Description: Teach Adult Education students the mathematical skills required to prepare for the High School Equivalency exam.

Education Requirements: Bachelors in Mathematics or Math Education. Masters degree preferred.

Experience Requirements: Experience in Adult Education is highly desirable.

The Career and Technical Programs provide programs of study that involve a multiyear sequence of courses that integrate core academic knowledge with technical and occupational knowledge to provide students with a pathway to postsecondary education and careers.
