Foreign affairs professionals representing the United States of America require agile, cutting-edge training programs to prepare them for a rapidly changing geopolitical landscape. The U.S. Department of State’s Foreign Service Institute (FSI) seeks an inaugural Provost to partner with senior leadership in enhancing and expanding FSI’s offerings.  This innovative senior educational leader will refine and implement the Department’s Learning Policy, develop an enterprise-wide learning strategy, shape curriculum design and evaluation policies and practices, support DEIA policy and resource development, and provide top-level guidance for locally employed (LE) staff training programs. A professional with experience in adult education, strategic planning, leadership, and partnership cultivation (internal and external) is sought to bring together the people and training programs at FSI, other government agencies, industry partners, and institutions of higher education through this dynamic role.
