LaGrange College seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds and perspectives. If you embrace our values of excellence, service, diversity, civility, and inclusion, and are committed to modeling those attributes in our community, we encourage you to submit your application for consideration.

A DBA, or Ph.D. in business or a related field from an ACBSP- or AACSB-accredited institution is required, however, the minimum education credential is an MBA or an MS from an accredited institution. The successful candidate will be a generalist who is qualified to teach both introductory and upper-level courses in the department. Typical courses include foundations in business, organizational behavior, management information systems, business communication, international business, and corporate finance.  The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to teach courses that satisfy the college’s general education curriculum, known as Ethos.  The normal teaching load is 7-8 courses per year.

We are looking for candidates who are committed to best practice pedagogy in teaching and assessment and who are dedicated to professional development, institutional service, and working collaboratively with colleagues inside and outside of the department to support our academic mission.

Through both a solid grounding in theory and engagement in the field (via internships, collaborative undergraduate research, and other opportunities) LaGrange College business students receive a thorough, intensive, and experiential education in the discipline. Our ACBSP-accredited program’s engagement in LaGrange College’s undergraduate research program affords students the opportunity to work directly with faculty on research projects that build their professional skills.
