Position Summary

The Enterprise Application Support position serves as a subject matter expert for various enterprise level applications used to conduct campus business. Some examples of enterprise level applications would include CRM, work order, electronic medical record, security camera, and point of sale systems. Responsibilities include system configuration, understanding third-party applications that are integrated with systems, and working knowledge of campus business processes.

In addition to operational responsibilities, this position works with campus stakeholders and ITS staff to cultivate functional requirements from requests. The position will initiate projects to deliver new system features or modify existing functionality as necessary to meet campus needs. The position is also responsible for providing recommendations to make business processes more efficient.

This position operates under the supervision of the Assistant Director of ITS /Enterprise Services. The position will perform within the established goals and priorities that are consistent with the Information Technology Services unit.

Description of College / Department / Program / Division / Unit

The Division of Administration and Finance is committed to providing quality campus services to faculty, staff, students and external constituencies in support of the university’s mission of teaching, research, and public service. The division includes Business Services, Budget Office, Facilities Planning & Management, Human Resources, Information Technology Services, and University Police & Parking Services.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
· Experience writing queries in SQL .
· Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with individuals’ at all organizational levels.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to interpret complex policies & procedures.
· Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience leading IT projects.
· Experience with client server technology and relational databases with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems and understand processes.
· Knowledge of IT concepts including research, development, software maintenance, and system integration.

· Provide enterprise application support for systems deployed to campus.
· Work with users to troubleshoot and resolve problems with enterprise applications.
· Develop, support, and retain knowledge of application interface specifications.
· Configuration, testing, and implementation of new software and new software features, software updates, and software modifications.
· Responsible for managing the relationship between campus and third-party vendor(s).
· Create reports and queries in using various tools to meet campus needs.
· Study existing business rules and workflow to identify areas where changes in business processes and/or IT systems could improve efficiency.
· Make recommendations to campus leadership for process or system changes.
