Job Summary

The Athletics Department at CU Boulder encourages applications for the Fellow Strength & Conditioning Coach position! The responsibilities of this fellowship position include developing, monitoring, providing instructional coaching, and supporting the Director and Assistant Director of the strength and conditioning program. It is vital that the person in this position is knowledgeable on lifting and conditioning fundamentals, and is either CSCS and/or CSCC certified.
This is a temporary, part-time fellowship beginning in January 2024 and continuing to the end of July 2024. This position works between 30 and 35 hours per week.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
  • The job entails supervising student-athletes to lift correctly and conduct themselves appropriately, as well as cleaning, and disinfecting the weight room while ensuring a great and safe atmosphere.
What You Should Know
  • This is a temporary, part-time position working mid-January 2024 to July 30, 2024.
  • Standard schedule is 5 days a week, 7 hours per day.
What We Can Offer
  • The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.
Benefits
Temporary positions at the University of Colorado are not benefits-eligible, however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave .

What We Require
  • Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of collegiate D1 strength and conditioning experience.
  • CSCS and/or CSCC certification.
What You Will Need
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Previous experience coaching large groups and in team settings.
  • Knowledge of various types of programming and evidence-based training principles.
What We Would Like You to Have
  • Significant experience working with Performance Technologies, including but not limited to Kitman Labs, Kinexon Sports, Polar Team Pro, and Vald Performance.
