Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at Mount Holyoke College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor beginning July 1, 2024 for a two-year appointment. The successful applicant will teach lecture and laboratory sections of core courses in General Chemistry and Chemical Measurement & Analysis. The opportunity to teach an upper-level course in the applicant’s area of expertise may be possible. Excellent facilities for research are available, including a dedicated research laboratory and access to a rich array of instrumentation. The opportunity also exists, at the candidate’s discretion, to establish student research collaborations. The successful applicant will have a broad background in chemistry and possess strong teaching, writing, and interpersonal skills.
