Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Department of Clinical Therapeutic Programs at Eastern Kentucky University is accepting applications for a 9-month, Visiting Professor position in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Program.

The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in the CSD program area and will also supervise student clinicians in the EKU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic and graduate students completing off-campus medical externships.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: - Master's degree in Communication Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
-Kentucky licensure (or immediate eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology

Experience: At least 5 years of clinical experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Licensure & Certifications: State Licensure (or immediate eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competency (or immediate eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience with assessment and intervention of communication disorders in adult populations in healthcare settings
-Expertise in neurogenic communication disorders and/or dysphagia
