Job Description:

• Isolates and assists in identification of bacteria and other microbial organisms.
• Performs antibiotic sensitivity testing on organisms to determine organism’s susceptibilities
• Performs various analyses in Mycology, Mycobacteriology, Parasitology, and Molecular Microbiology

Minimum Qualifications:

• MT/MLS (ASCP) Certification or equivalent, M (ASCP), or MP (ASCP) acceptable.
• Baccalaureate degree from accredited institution.
• At least 2 years working experience in a Clinical Microbiology Laboratory. Experience must include identification and susceptibility testing of clinical pathogenic organisms. Must have clinical experience in bacteriology and at least two of the following: Parasitology, Mycology, or Mycobacteriology.
