The Department of Risk Management/Insurance, Real Estate, and Legal Studies houses nationally acclaimed faculty and programs in both risk management/insurance and real estate. The department is to the Dr. William T. Hold/The National Alliance Program in Risk Management and Insurance, the highest-ranked program in the College of Business.

This state-funded tenure track position will be responsible for enhancing the MBA and MS-RMI programs generally and the College’s "Business of Healthcare" initiative more specifically. Primarily teaching at the graduate level on topics including both public and private health insurance, healthcare, and healthcare providers is expected. This position would also help create synergies with other colleges (e.g. College of Medicine, College of Nursing) on potential joint programs and apply for grant-funded health care research.
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited program or similarly accredited health-related program. Tenure-track status requires degree in-hand by August 2024. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to research and teaching excellence.
