Description

The Research Laboratory of Professor Ali Trabolsi, in the Division of Science at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), seeks to appoint two researchers with an excellent record of academic success for a Research Assistant position until October 2024. The research will focus on a joint project on the development of Covalent Organic Frameworks (COF) for the effective delivery of biomolecules and drugs. Candidates should have a BS or MS in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical engineering, or related field, with experience and interest in organic chemistry and drug delivery. An ideal candidate should have a solid background in organic synthesis and characterization, Biological studies, particularly in the area of molecular dynamics and materials. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge resources in a dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment and collaborate with experimental and computational researchers.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required together with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team. Experience with organic synthesis, handling cells is an advantage.
