Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Engineering is searching for a Managing Director to to join the Center for Faculty Success. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by assisting the Associate Dean for Faculty and Graduate Affairs, the CFS Faculty Director, and the departments/institutes in supporting all aspects of faculty members’ success.

Your core responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and conducting professional development offerings and training opportunities for Engineering Faculty.

  • In partnership with the CIT Research Accelerator, will provide support and guidance in service of Faculty members’ approach to planning and managing research.

  • Providing support and guidance to under- represented faculty members through collaboration with the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and other campus resources.

  • Developing events and programming to support the onboarding of Faculty members.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree required

  • 5-8 relevant work experience
