Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Residential Life Assistant in the Residential Life department.

The candidate would be expected to: Answer phones and handle walk-ins for students/ parents/ guests. Prepare documents for the department; answer emails from the Residential Life account; coordinate weekly/monthly duty schedules; manage department record-keeping, respond to student issues, and make appropriate referrals.

This is an in-person on-campus, non-remote position.

Required Skills or Software:
Basic Knowledge of MS Word 2016, Basic Knowledge of MS Excel 2016, Must be able to utilize a variety of computer software programs in order to successfully complete assigned tasks, Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately, Must be able to operate a variety of office equipment

Required Years of Experience: 3

Other Requirements:
  • Must have three (3) years of office experience with customer service, filing and a high volume of telephone calls/visitors.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity of MS Publisher 2019.
