The School of Public Administration, University of Nebraska Omaha, seeks applicants for a tenure-track
faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor with an emphasis in public policy, to begin August
2024. Candidates should be ABD or hold a PhD in Public Administration, Public Affairs, Public Policy, or a
related field. ABD candidates will only be considered so long as they are near completion of their PhD.
We seek candidates who will make significant contributions to teaching in our doctoral, masters, and
undergraduate programs and to rigorous research that broadly connects policy processes to public and
nonprofit management and the larger governance environment. The School boasts a 2:2 teaching load
for productive research faculty. Candidates should also be able to teach in both face-to-face and online
settings, and demonstrate promise of excellence in research, teaching, and a commitment to community
engagement along with the ability to support the strategic efforts of the School. Review of applications
will begin on January 16, 2024, and continue until the position is filled.
