The primary purpose of the position is to direct, plan, coordinate
and manage communications projects furthering objectives of the
CAES and Cooperative Extension and Research divisions, as assigned.
Creates messages through website content, social media, print
materials, and radio/television content that generate interest in
the college's research agenda, Cooperative Extension outreach
initiatives and Research initiatives. Identifies and determines
topics or subjects for various projects to support strategic
objectives; researches and verifies submitted material; writes,
reads, proofs, edits and rewrites copy; ensures accuracy and
completeness of projects; and interviews subjects when appropriate.
