The Sawyer Business School Graduate Programs Office is excited to announce an opportunity to work with a stellar team of staff and faculty who make a positive impact on students lives and their educational pursuits. Are you passionate about leveraging data to inform strategies and initiatives? Are you committed to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive student engagement experience? The Associate Director for Graduate Operations and Student Engagement at the Sawyer Business School (SBS) plays a crucial role in supporting the entire SBS Graduate Programs portfolio. This role has direct responsibility and oversight of four major areas of responsibility: cross-program administrative initiatives; data analysis; student engagement and retention strategies; and admissions and marketing.

Within the four major areas of responsibilities the emphasis of the role will focus on 1. collecting and analyzing data to inform strategy and process efficiencies; 2. assessing the needs of a graduate student population while developing and implementing a comprehensive student engagement and retention strategy; and 3. building relationships internally and externally resulting in shared outcomes in support of the SBS Graduate Programs portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a University/College setting in a graduate programs office and/or managing programs is advantageous.
  • Excellent skills in data analysis, marketing and event planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including database management and advanced excel required.
  • A student-centered approach to work and commitment to equity-minded practices and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and to assume a leadership role when necessary.
  • Standard hours of this position are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, M-F. Hybrid position requires on campus representation a minimum of 2-3 days per week, however ability to keep flexible hours to support program objectives, including some evening and weekends, is necessary.
