Job Description

Truckee Meadows Community College is recruiting for an Administrative Assistant 3 with the Learning Commons, WebCollege and Academic Support Center. This position will serve as the instructor course evaluation administrator by building projects and surveys within the EvaluationKit (EK) system and configuring settings to ensure campus-wide functionality each semester. This position will establish, manage, maintain and monitor imported courses, students, and instructors in EK, use other software programs (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, and Google Sheets) to pull data, develop and conduct training for instructors and administrators, provide technical support for EK and Canvas, act as the subject matter expert for EK, and attend annual vendor conferences and monthly webinars for the latest updates to the EK system. This position will also be the office manager for the Academic Support Center by providing support for all part-time faculty, oversee and delegate office processes to student employees, update the department's list-serv, webpages, and part-time faculty handbook. This position will also oversee the department's special projects and events, maintain and monitor department accounts, supervise student workers, and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Graduation from high school or equivalent education and three years of progressively responsible relevant work experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintenance of complex records and files; public/customer relations including explaining detailed policies, regulations and requirements; preparation and processing of financial and statistical documents such as payroll, travel, claims and budgeting forms; and assisting staff and management with projects and activities; OR one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.

Schedule

The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; this is subject to change based on organizational needs.
