Job Summary

The Program Manager will implement and manage the USDOL Strengthening Community Colleges Closing Equity Gaps through Accelerate Pathways ( CEGAP ) program in conjunction with the Center for Workforce Development and the Office of Career Services. The Program Manager will report to the Associate Vice President for Workforce Development and Experiential Learning ( AVP ) and will ensure the implementation and outcome goals of the grant are met through direct student services, assistance in curriculum development and coordination of related academic and workforce programs, internship and career placements, and grant administration.
The Program Manager will work collaboratively with the college community, external college partners, employers, and other members of the community to successfully implement related programs. The individual will use independent judgement while taking initiative in the preparation and completion of assignments.

Qualifications - Education

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications - Experience

Three years of experience in project management with supervisory skills. Previous experience with federal grants, student and career services, and data management is desired.

Qualifications - Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and related programs, excellent computer skills, good phone skills, customer service skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, good communications skills, ability to work under pressure, sensitivity in handling confidential information. Proven track record of goal attainment.

Work Hours

Generally 8:30 – 4:30 with some flexible scheduling necessary.

Located on 222 acres of rolling terrain in Randolph, County College of Morris (CCM) has been meeting the educational and training needs of residents and businesses in Morris County for 50 years.
