Duties and Responsibilities

Program Development & Management (30%)
  • Support the Entrepreneurship Innovation Center ( EIC ) leader team in the development and implementation of a comprehensive program strategy aligning with the EIC’s mission and goals.
  • Design and implement programming, workshops and activities that develop and expand the entrepreneurial mindset of our campus and community stakeholders.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of programs and initiatives within the EIC . This includes budgeting and execution.
  • Manage signature events such as the Bulldog Pitch Competition to ensure events for well-organized and executed for all parties including students, coaches, sponsors, and judges. This includes the logistics, budget, catering, staffing, etc.
  • Develop and update educational materials and curriculums for startups.

Evaluation and Reporting (25%)
  • Monitor the success and impact of the Entrepreneurship Innovation Center’s programs through data analysis, surveys, and participant feedback. Regularly report on program outcomes to stakeholders and leverage insights to improve the center’s offerings.
  • Draft reports and presentations on program outcomes and impact, including grant application and reports.
  • Design evaluation tools to gather data on program outcomes, deliverables, and recommendation for improvement.
  • Assist in the development of EIC annual report.

Marketing and Community Building (20%)
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the Entrepreneurship Innovation Center and attract potential program participants, mentors, and partners.
  • Consult and advise internal and external stakeholders on volunteer, alumni, and guest speaker opportunities.
  • Facilitate networking opportunities and connections between campus entrepreneurs and community resources.

Mentorship (15%)
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and resources to aspiring entrepreneurs participating in the center’s programs. Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages creativity, risk-taking, and collaboration.
  • Coordinate external volunteers to ensure they are trained and familiar with strategies for working with our student entrepreneurs.

Policy and Procedures Development (5%)
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of programming at the EIC .

Training and Development (5%)
  • Provide training and development opportunities for program team.
Minimum Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience
  • A minimum of eight (8) proven experience in entrepreneurship education or small business development with a track record of successful program development and implementation.
  • A minimum of five (5) years in a supervisory position.
  • A minimum of five (5) years project management experience, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of direct experience managing budgets and grant reporting.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of the design and engagement of an entrepreneurial ecosystem, including knowledge of startup challenges, funding opportunities, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to draw actionable insights from program metrics.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and social media platforms to effectively promote the Entrepreneurship Innovation Center.
Conditions of Employment
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and programs.
  • Must be able to work with constituents on campus, including students, faculty, and staff, while working effectively with influential external stakeholders, including donors, business leaders, sponsors, advisors, and alumni
  • This is an in-person 40 hour a week on campus position.
