The Software Engineering department at Alfaisal University invites applications for full time positions. Specific positions and areas of interest include:
- Assistant, Associate or Professor in Cybersecurity: Applicants must have Ph.D. degree in Cybersecurity or related area. The successful candidate must have a strong research record and have experience of teaching and supervising both graduate and undergraduate students. The successful candidate is expected to bring experience, energy, motivation and leadership to the Department of Software Engineering. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge, proven by a strong teaching and research record, to teach courses in the following areas: Cybersecurity, Cryptography, and Secure Software Engineering. In addition, the candidate should be able teach core courses in Software Engineering and Computer Science.
- Instructor or Lecturer in Software Engineering: Applicants must have MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related area. Preference is given to those with lab development and teaching experience. The candidate should have a proven ability to help in teaching in the general fields of Software Engineering and Computer Science. The candidate should be able to teach core introductory courses in the Software Engineering program such as object-oriented programming, algorithms and data structures, and discrete math. The candidate must have a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related area.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING (CoE#201123)
The Electrical Engineering department at Alfaisal University invites applications for full time positions. Specific positions and areas of interest include:
- Assistant, Associate or Professor: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field specializing in electronic and computer engineering. They should possess a comprehensive knowledge of electrical circuits and the fundamental principles of electrical engineering. Additionally, expertise in the fields of communications and networks, among others, is highly desirable. The candidate should have prior teaching experience, including both courses and labs, with a focus on student-centered delivery and management at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. POSTDOC RESEARCHER (CoE#010623)
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the College of Engineering. The successful candidate will focus on fundamental and applied research in various areas, including Robotics, AI, IoT Wireless Communication, Intelligent UAVs, deep learning, reinforcement learning and planning, artificial evolution, probabilistic reasoning, natural language processing, automation, mechatronics, and Meachanics, and related fields.
