The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for a post-doctoral research fellow.

The post-doctoral research fellow is responsible for performing research projects in breast cancer in an in-person laboratory setting under the instructions.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform research activities such as: Western blot assays, ELISA assays, cell viability assays, cell migration and invasion assays, DNA transfection, cancer cell cultures, and mouse studies etc.
  • Present posters at the research meetings.
  • Perform other related routine laboratory duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education : Ph.D. or M.D. degree in biomedical science is required.

Preferred Experience : Research experience with western blot assay, cancer research, human cell culture, ELISA assay, cell viability/migration assays, and mouse study is considered a strength.

HIRING RANGE: Commensurate with education and research experience.
