Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Admission
Counselor in the Undergraduate Admission department.
The candidate would be expected to: impart information about the
University to prospective students, parents, school counselors and
independent counselors, to include: tuition and fees, academic
award program, academic majors, student services, athletic teams,
clubs and organizations; evaluate freshman applicants' academic
credentials and highlight unique cases as deemed appropriate for
further consideration for admission to or denial from the
University; represent the University at high school visits, college
fairs, counselor meetings and information sessions through travel,
at high schools, school counselor events, and professional
development meetings in and out of New Jersey.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Valid Automobile Driver's License in your state of principal
Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills,
Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information
appropriately, Intermediate knowledge of MS Word 2016, Intermediate
knowledge of MS Excel 2016, Must be able to utilize a variety of
computer software programs in order to successfully complete
Required Years of Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or obtain by date of employment.
- Willingness and ability to travel/recruit throughout New
Jersey, New England, mid-Atlantic and various other states
- Willingness and ability to work both traditional, evening and
