Work Schedule: This part-time position has hours that vary based on classes and candidates availability

Starting pay range: $36.05 to $42.18

Job Summary:
The individual in this position is responsible for the clinical/lab instruction of students in the Nursing Program. Utilizes clinical facilities across the region in northern Idaho and Eastern Washington.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience : Bachelor’s Degree is required. Recent professional and/or teaching experience in nursing is required; a minimum of three years recent Med/Surg nursing experience is required. Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of students, faculty, and staff from multi-cultural backgrounds

Required License and/or Certifications :
Must possess or be able to obtain an Idaho and Washington State Nursing License

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Demonstrable teaching effectiveness in medical-surgical nursing
• Familiarity with current learning technologies
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Ability to use a personal computer and associated peripherals and current version of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, Internet, and alternative delivery systems (e.g. internet and interactive video) at a proficient level
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone and copier

Background Check

Due to contractual requirements related to teaching in regional clinical facilities, employment is contingent on confidential review of National Background Check results.

Drug Screening

Drug Screening may be required for some clinical facilities.

Immunizations

The majority of clinical facilities require faculty and students to be fully immunized for Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis, and Seasonal Influenza and COVID-19. Exemptions or declinations may be offered at many of the facilities but is not guaranteed.
