Job Summary:
Under general direction this position manages the software development staff at the college and is the chief architect for campus wide administrative software systems. This position requires a vision and understanding of Enterprise Application technology and the ability to position this organization in a way that its needs are met. The ability to lead effectively and manage efficiently is essential.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience : Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum three years full-time equivalent related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Enterprise applications administration required.

Required License and/or Certifications :
Must possess a valid driver’s license

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Expert abilities in use of personal computing hardware and associated peripherals
• Expert abilities in use of IT hardware and software, Microsoft applications, Microsoft Systems, Microsoft Servers, and Microsoft Active Directory
• Proficient in use of industry standard computer system management and analysis tools
• Working knowledge of Application Programming Interface (API) development
• Proficient in the use of ITIL and project management tools
• Ability to facilitate problem-solving among diverse groups with varying needs and priorities, and to communicate well with users, technical staff, and senior management
• Ability to effectively manage IT projects involving a wide variety of stakeholders
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
• Ability to work on-call and additional hours as required by operational and production work situations
• Good writing skills for internal and external communications
