Associate Director of Corporate Outreach & New Engagement - College of Engineering

We are currently searching for a motivated Associate Director of Corporate Outreach & New Engagement to join the team at the Integrated Innovation Institute. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department supporting holistic engagement with corporations and determine key partnership opportunities across the III portfolio of programs, and other such tasks as assigned to you.

Your core responsibilities will include:
  • Establishing and maintaining holistic database for all corporate relations engagement with easy access for iii staff and faculty to promote collaboration.

  • Securing corporate sponsors for IPD Capstone course each spring term

  • Building upon current corporate relationships to further the reach of iii Online Certificates

  • Collaborating with CPDC & iii Program Directors to Implement systematic outreach to highly engaged companies before/after each internship cycle.

  • Conducting review/audit iii Company Engagement holistically each semester

  • Creating repeatable process for corporate outreach for each portfolio channel

  • Collaborating with staff and faculty to meet overall iii goals.

  • Engaging with cold-call requests from industry about opportunities at the III.

  • Connecting with others who support corporate relations/outreach in the CMU community

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree, Masters degree preferred

  • 3-5 years of fundraising experience

  • Higher education experience (not required, but a plus).
    • A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
