Director, Portland Metro Campus Library

Oregon Tech is seeking applications for a Director in the Portland Metro Campus Library. This is a 12-month, full-time position located on the Oregon Tech campus in Wilsonville, Oregon. The Portland Metro Campus Library is in the Oregon Tech campus building in Wilsonville, Oregon. The Portland Metro library works closely with the Oregon Tech library in Klamath Falls to provide integrated LMS services, reference and research support, instructional outreach, and data collection and analysis.

Required:

• Masters with Library Science degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• 3 or more years’ experience in an academic library with progressive responsibilities.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse community.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Demonstrated OER project management skills.
• Demonstrated data gathering and analysis skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in engineering and/or health sciences libraries.
• Ability to analyze trends in academic librarianship and to extrapolate their appropriateness to the College’s current and future needs.
• Knowledge of current trends in branch campus libraries.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work independent
