Associate/Full & Assistant/Associate Professors - Educational Statistics, Measurements and Evaluation (Two Tenure-Track Faculty Positions)

Major Responsibilities: The scholars filling these positions will conduct a research and publication agenda that advances Rutgers Graduate School of Education’s pursuit of advancing excellence and equity in education; demonstrate scholarly productivity by publishing in peer- reviewed journals in the field of quantitative methods, securing external research support, and presenting at national and international scholarly conferences; contribute to the success of programs across the GSE; participate in program development and innovation; and develop and teach quantitative methods courses. We are specifically interested in scholars with expertise and experience in assessment, evaluation, educational measurement, and statistics, including quantitative modeling and/or statistical theory in the social and behavioral sciences, psychometrics, and/or multilevel analysis, or developing new methods for educational measurement, evaluation, and statistics. Priority will be given to scholars who can demonstrate a commitment to equity and social justice. The scholars filling these positions will provide leadership that draws and builds on current and emerging methods in quantitative research and advise students including doctoral students in our Ed.D. and Ph.D. programs; serve as a methodological resource and partner to student and colleagues, participate actively in local, state, and national professional organizations; and contribute to the service missions of the Graduate School of Education and the university.

Minimum Qualifications: We seek candidates for two tenured-track positions: 1) Associate/Full Professor and 2) Assistant/Associate Professor. Applicants for both positions are required to have earned a doctoral degree from an accredited major research university with a specialization in educational measurement, evaluation, or statistical methods and a demonstrated record of scholarly excellence and accomplishments that merits appointment at the rank of Associate/Full Professor with tenure or Associate Professor with tenure or Assistant Professor on a tenure-track.
