The Schmidt College of Science's health research aims to protect
and improve human health as one of our strategic areas of research
interest. Health related research in the College reflects a diverse
range of interests and expertise that align with existing strengths
and priority areas of the University and region.
COMPUTATIONAL AND DATA SCIENCE INITIATIVE
Data-intensive, computational methods have emerged as a key
enabler of scientific discovery. The Schmidt College of Science
Computational and Data Science Initiative leverages the
transdisciplinary efforts of a vibrant and growing community of FAU
scholar-educators to meet the opportunities and challenges posed by
the scientific data revolution.
