Job Description
  • Provide specialized business support for the Office of Development, as well as back-up for the Office of the Vice Chancellor
  • Assist the Assistant Vice Chancellor for University Advancement with tasks related to travel, meeting arrangements, event planning, fundraising, expense reports, and HR
  • Office manager; manage IT programs, office billing, internal policies and procedures, maintenance requests, etc.
  • Manage a team of two OSAIV’s and supports the Development leadership team
  • Monitor monthly payroll ensuring employees are paid promptly and accurately
  • Lead HR functions for department (facilitate recruiting process, initiate new hire paperwork, develop onboarding and exiting processes, applicant screening, interviews, and paperwork processing)
  • Plan and coordinate events for top corporate donors
  • Anticipate office needs and develop and implement solutions when unanticipated challenges occur
  • Generate monthly reports by gathering and calculating data from multiple sources and provide a final product to the Vice Chancellor and Assistant Vice Chancellor for their use
  • Review and approve expense reports, purchasing requests, and vouchers for the Office of Development
  • Oversee account reconciliation for expense reports
  • Create briefing materials for campus leadership
  • Oversee budget report
Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information and maintain confidentiality is of the utmost importance
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience interacting with key campus alumni and friends who frequent the office regularly
  • Supervisory experience
  • Budgetary experience
