Thomas seeks a faculty member in Marketing effective Fall 2024 to join a vibrant College dedicated to student success. Thomas College is seeking an individual to design and offer undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing that incorporate opportunities to integrate technology, social media and communications in new and exciting ways that reflect a rapidly changing and technology-rich business environment.  

The candidate will be expected to offer a range of courses in marketing ranging from Principles of Marketing to Digital and Shared Economies Marketing, Marketing Research, or Internet Marketing. Depending on experience and interest, the successful candidate will have opportunities to develop new courses to support majors in Digital Media, Marketing Management, and Public Relations/Communications. Candidates will be expected to work collaboratively with faculty across disciplines in both Business and the Arts and Sciences at Thomas to promote the integration of technology into the curriculum.

Candidates must be committed to teaching excellence, service to the College, community engagement, and professional development. Responsibilities for full time faculty include a 4/4 teaching load, academic advising, committee service, and course/program development.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • An appropriate terminal degree or substantial progress toward the degree by the time of appointment
  • Evidence of engaging teaching that supports and motivates students 
  • Commitment to the integration of digital technology and its implementation in the classroom
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in their teaching.
