Job Details
Adjunct faculty position in Biochemistry:
The applicant should have expertise in the Foundational Concepts of Biochemistry, particularly macromolecular structure, function, and regulation, energy and metabolism, information storage and transfer (including gnome and gene expression), and experiential learning and advanced biochemical techniques. The applicant is expected to teach the Biochemistry I class, lecture and lab combined, in a two-semester series for biochemistry, biology, and chemistry majors. The applicant should be familiar with active learning pedagogy, and be dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching practices.
Required qualifications : The applicant should have received or be within one year of receiving a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or related fields.
