About this Opportunity

The College of Health seeks an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to serve as the Project Director for our newly established Rural Health Network. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with network partners and community stakeholders. The candidate will also demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to organize and deploy a team of providers and staff into the field to deliver services and education.

This opportunity is grant funded through June 30, 2024. The individual hired will have an at-will assignment. The salary range is $65,000 to $75,000.

Position Function

The Project Director for the Rural Health Network will provide programmatic and administrative leadership for the College of Health’s Rural Health Network Project. Furthermore, the position serves as a contact point for community partners, patients, practitioners, and employees that are participating, or receiving services, as part of the project. This is a temporary position supported by grant funding and may require some travel to various sites in East Central Indiana.

This position is grant-funded through June 2024 and the individual hired will have an at-will assignment.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in education, community health, healthcare administration, a health profession, human services, or related area.

Minimum Experience

Minimum of three years of experience with project management or delivery of healthcare services.

Minimum Other

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy and have the willingness and ability to travel.

Authorization to work in the US

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Education

Master’s degree from an accredited institution in education, community health, healthcare administration, a health profession, human services, or related area.

Preferred Experience

Additional years of experience with project management or delivery of healthcare services.
