Job Purpose:
The University of Scranton Education Department invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor in Teacher Education with an emphasis on elementary mathematics and/or science education beginning August 2024. The candidate will demonstrate expertise and a research agenda in mathematics and/or science education.

Essential Duties:
- Teach undergraduate courses in early childhood and elementary mathematics, science and technology; secondary education mathematics and science; statistics in education; and other courses as needed by the department- Research/scholarship and service

Additional Skills Required:

Minimum Education Requirements:
- Doctorate in Mathematics Education, Science Education, Curriculum and Instruction or other related fields in teacher education- Exceptional ABDs will be given consideration
