The selected candidate will be expected to teach regularly in our General Biology course for majors, and offer an upper division course in one or more of the following areas: Molecular Genetics, Genomics/Bioinformatics, Cellular and Molecular Immunology, Virology, Neurobiology, and/or a Molecular Biotechnology Lab course. The candidate may also be able to develop an upper-level course in their specialty area. The position will support the concentration in Molecular Biology within the Biology major. The teaching load is three undergraduate courses each semester, with research and university service also required for promotion and tenure.

Requirements:

Applicants are expected to have completed a Ph.D. in biology with a focus in molecular biology, or closely related field.
