Department Specific Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties for the offices of Enrollment Services, Undergraduate Admissions, Academic Advisement and Career Services. Assists in the maintenance of several department budgets within the division. Communicates and assists students, faculty and administrators on University policy matters. Assumes responsibility for small projects and oversees such projects through to completion. Maintains files and appointment calendars. May be responsible for creating on-line job requisitions for employment and request for professional position changes. Greets and screens visitors and phone calls as needed; relays messages, responds or takes necessary action or refers to appropriate person for resolution. Attends meetings and seminars to take notes. Orders and maintains inventory of supplies and equipment. Develops and maintains confidential or complex files. May have contact with sensitive, complex and confidential information. May be responsible for managing calendars, appointments, chair events and meetings. Inventories and orders supplies and equipment for multiple departments within the division. Prepares correspondence, reports/memos, fax messages, makes travel arrangements, and schedules appointments for Registrar. Keeps abreast of University policies and procedures and interprets for individual departments within Enrollment Management. Provide budget forecasting and updates to organizational managers throughout the fiscal year. Communicates and assists students, faculty and administrators on University policy matters. Assumes responsibility for small projects and oversees such projects through to completion. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in job related field or 4+ years of equivalent work experience in chosen filed that provides knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. Requires the application of expertise in a chosen field to achieve results.
