Train. Develop. Mentor.
The Ohio State University President’s Postdoctoral Scholars Program (PPSP), recognizes highly-qualified postdocs who aim to become leaders in their fields. This program supports the scholarly efforts and training of terminal degree holders (PhD, MFA, and others) who wish to pursue careers in research and creative inquiry, as well as providing professional development and networking opportunities. This program includes two years of salary support and full benefits (health insurance, tuition assistance, and paid leave) provided by the Office of the President and the scholar’s faculty mentor/sponsor college. PPSP scholars also receive dedicated funds to support research, creative expression, and professional development-related expenses.

Eligibility: U.S. citizens and permanent residents as well as international scholars are eligible to apply. Candidates must have obtained their terminal degree no more than 2 years prior to the nomination deadline. Individuals must be able to start their postdoctoral position no later than January 3, 2025.

STEP 1: Find a faculty mentor/advisor. Use this Ohio State resource (https://www.osu.edu/academics/a-z.html) to identify researchers in your area with whom you would like to train if you have not yet identified someone.

STEP 2: Have your faculty mentor/advisor submit a short letter of intent by Friday, December 1, 2023, 11:59 PM ET using the application system found here(go.osu.edu/ppsp-2024).

STEP 3: Work with your faculty mentor/advisor to gather the materials for the full nomination package. The faculty mentor/advisor must submit a complete nomination by Friday, December 22, 2023.
