Description: The Technology Specialist II specializes in laptop repair and provides tier 2 technical support for the students and employees of Grove City College. Additionally, this position includes Tablet PC repairs, diagnosis, and resolution of issues for various types of software and hardware related to classroom, office & educational technology. This position involves direct communication with students and employees.
Requirements: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in a technology-related major; equivalent experience in a technology-intensive field may be considered. Successful completion of the HP Hardware Repair certification is required and will be completed during the first two weeks of employment. Additional certifications may be required based on duties assigned. Successful candidate must be detailed oriented and have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact on a professional basis with a wide range of constituents, particularly in planning and he/she should also be proficient with personal computers in a Windows environment and have fluency in Microsoft Office.
