The College of Business at Loyola University New Orleans invites applications for a Professor of Practice faculty position, beginning Fall 2024. The ideal candidate will have significant industry experience in one or more business disciplines and expertise in Artificial Intelligence and be able to effectively teach as well as advise and mentor undergraduate students. Industry certification in a business related field or computer science is desirable. Areas of teaching responsibility include the first semester freshmen course in the College of Business entitled “A.I. and the Future of Business” at the undergraduate level. Minimum qualifications include a MBA or other related business degree from an AACSB accredited institution. A PhD in business is preferred.

The Joseph A. Butt, S.J., College of Business currently enrolls approximately 550 undergraduate students in degree programs leading to majors in accounting, analytics, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, management, marketing, and international business. Approximately 150 students are enrolled in graduate programs. Recently, the College has launched new graduate programs in Marketing & Communication and Healthcare Management and an undergraduate major in Entrepreneurship. US News & World Report has ranked both graduate (Marketing, Entrepreneurship) and undergraduate (International Business) programs in the top 25. The College requires all undergraduate students to complete internships and provides career preparation through its Portfolio program.
