Position Summary: The Department of Occupational Therapy at Wingate University is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for the Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program. We invite applications from candidates qualified to teach OTD 723 Foundations of Clinical Practice in Occupational Therapy I course that will take place in the Spring 2023 semester. Duties/Responsibilities:
• Teach OTD 723 Foundations of Clinical Practice in Occupational Therapy I (3 credits) in
person on the Wingate University main campus
• Regular, predictable attendance on campus
• Alignment with University mission, vision, and strategic roadmap
• Other job duties/responsibilities may be assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills, and a commitment to student success.
• Display initiative and a desire for professional learning and growth.
• Show excellent problem solving, critical thinking, time management, and leadership skills.
• Show integrity, strong ethics, a heart for service, and respect for others. Education and Experience:
• A Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited institution (Doctorate preferred)
• A minimum of 1 year of teaching occupational therapy students (preferred) Physical Requirements:
